Our Craft
Bellberry Distillery is situated in the mighty Waikato, New Zealand. Originally owned by Jack and Betty Bell, the property has been passed through the family and is now enjoying its fourth generation of “caretakers”. We are fully organic (Biogro Certified) and do not use any chemicals or pesticides (Spray Free).
We firmly believe in using nature to balance out the ecosystem to create a predator friendly environment. Combine this with looking after the soil structure and, over time you will be rewarded with the most delicious fruit.
Our distilled product is made in small batches and is dependent on the seasonal fruit we have available. We make it from scratch and use absolutely nothing artificial. No preservatives, colours etc. To this end, it is possible that you will see some sediment in the bottle or forming over time. This is completely normal and part of the fruit. Discolouration can also occur as the fruit reacts with sunlight and oxygen. Neither will impact the quality.
